Gina Joy Carano was a mixed martial arts champion, an actress and a fitness model. She began her career as an Muay Thai fighter and became the face of women's MMA. Her Muay Thai record is impressive, with twelve wins and just one loss. It is the first time an American woman has taken home the Muay Thai championship in Thailand. When she was growing up she was a gymnastics and ballet jazz tap. She was also a pro at volleyball, basketball and softball. Jiujitsu and wrestler are two of the other sports she studied. Seven wins and one loss comprise her MMA career. She is a major MMA legend due to the combination of her combat skills, her calm personality, and stunning looks. Haywire as well as Fast & Furious 6' were two Hollywood blockbuster movies that she acted in. Her career often suffered criticism for using her sex attraction. The harshest criticisms could not dampen her enthusiasm and her fans never stopped showering her love. Her popularity is due to her indisputable talent and the strength of her character.
