She was born in Roswell on March 29, 1985. Gerina is the full name of her. Gerina Stevenson was born to Mexican parents Rita Stevenson and Alan Stevenson. Stevenson is Mexican as well as American. The desire to be a sportsperson was born as a kid. Gerina began playing golf after she turned 15 years old. Gerina was a student at Goddard High School. In high school, she took home at the New Mexico state golf tournament. As well as volleyball, she competed on the state level. The year 2003 was the time she was enrolled in the University of Texas. In her final year, she was the winner of every competition she participated in. Through her college professional career, she took home an award for Conference USA Individual Champion Player of the Year award and the UTEP Female Athlete of the Year.

Amanda Schull's mom Susan Schull is the present head of Hawaii Ballet. Amanda was a student at Punahou School for pursuing early studies.
